This week's somewhat belated homepage update:
- DARC AGES, Chapter 32 (a long one);
- THE ARGUS PROJECT, Chapter 16.
And now a reader mail : Alain from Canada wrote in to say
"Read your short stories they were Fantastic !"
Thanks!
If you want know see what Alain is on about, check out the many short fiction samples from THE FACE IN THE DOOR, or THE FLATTERED PLANET, or PRECINCT 20: DEAD STRANGE.

Website Update: DARC AGES
My official website update is lean this week, due to real-life things happening which require my attention.
(Ever notice how I'm not going into the details of my private in this blog? And it'll stay that way. J.D. Salinger was on to something.)
But why not revisit a memorable oldie: Here I read my short story "SEE", which was once published in the Chinese Magazine KE HUAN / SCIENCE FICTION STORY.

Download the MP3 file of "SEE"
Still the best thing I ever wrote.

Someone Dries To Tefend Typos
Are there more typos in books than there used to be?
I don't know, but it seems so. I don't like typos, but they really seem impossible to get rid of completely.
In this essay, Joseph Epstein tells us to not take typos too seriously.
Choice quote:
The secret of excellent proofreading is caring intensely about getting things right and loathing error with an intensity that perhaps only fascism or an alimony-collecting ex-wife deserves.
Ouch.
