On my Substack, I post essays and texts that are much too long for Instagram or X/Twitter...
One such essay is titled
"What We're Talking About When We're (Not) Talking About Extraterrestrials - Our culture's complicated relationship with the Great Other"
It's about an open-minded skeptic (me) trying to look at the UFO/UAP phenomenon from various angles - not the least as a cultural phenomenon.
I make an effort not to play favorites, or be naive - and I'm absolutely not dismissing the possibility of aliens. I try to take the issue seriously.
